Things have been as busy as every and we're just loving life. We've been in our new house now for almost 5 months and we've gotten a surprisingly high number of projects done. Still plenty to do but we're loving it. Here are a few pictures. Clearly he learned this look from his mom. If you just say, "scowl" this is what you get...
Here are all the cousins getting ready for Halloween.
I think the cutest of the group is the bumblebee but I may be a little biased.
Last weekend we went out Christmas tree hunting and this is what we came home with.
Beck loves playing ball!
Earlier today Erin walked into the laundry room and found Beck like this:
I think he quite likes the reindeer grandma sent him.
Busted kissing his toy.

Here are a few pictures of Beck's birthday party with his cousins.

Mom of the Year! Check out these cakes Erin made.

Singing Happy Birthday.

He needed a little help getting started on the cake but once he figured it out, nobody else was allowed to touch it.

"My cake!"

What a cute little mess.

And lastly, Beckam figured out a new way to eat some of the more slippery foods.

In an effort to make up for lost time I decided to throw together another post real quick. This one will just be our family pictures we got while we were all in Cincinatti with Landon and Kara but as today is Beckam's birthday I'll be adding a few more birthday pics in a few days.

We'll start things off with pictures of the cute ones in the family.

Such a ladies man. Bexley is clearly the aggressor!

Freaking Stud!

Now lets see where he got all those cute genes.

Here's the whole fam

It has taken forever but we're finally putting together an update. We moved into our new house in Kaysville about 2 months ago. We've been crazy busy with projects on the house and the new job. Beck is growing up and Erin was called to the Young Women's Presidency and is loving it. Pictures start chronologically from the bottom of the post.

At the aquarium in Cincinatti.

Beck couldn't figure out the guy swimming in the shark tank.

I don't remember which museum this is but it was sure fun.

At the Natural History Museum

Beck riding on my shoulders and very tired.

We had been in our house for exactly 5 days before we went to Washington DC for a week. Here we are at the Lincoln Memorial.

When we finally got into our house Beck LOVED unpacking his stuffed animals.

Here's Beck with all his Easter presents.

Easter party with the fam

We stayed for about 2 and a half months at Erin's sister's house til we figured out where we were going to live. Here is Beck and his cousin, Jens just hanging out.

Saying Goodbye...

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Well, this is sooner than I usually get around to publishing a new post but there has been a lot going on. The biggest news is that I got a new job. I start at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake on the 14th. I'll be in their Administration building as a Coding Consultant. We just found out about the job offer on the 7th so we don't have a lot of time to get moved out of Rexburg and find a place in SLC but we're pretty happy about it all the same. Another note-worthy story is that a couple weeks ago Beck got RSV, which was miserable for us and him. We're glad for a good doctor and that he's finally better. So here are a few pictures of our final month in "The Burg".

This one is while he was sick. He could breathe better if he was sitting upright, so to sleep we laid him in his carseat. Obviously he was tossing and turning a little because here he is half in and half out of his seat but still dead asleep.

Clearly feeling much better.

Once he was better, Erin and I went out to dinner and left him with Kelsey. He hasn't been babysat a lot so we were a little worried about whether or not he'd be happy about it. But when we came home and I reached for him, this was his answer.

This is one of his favorite new tricks. He used to play with the toys on this bouncer with his hands, now he'll only play with them using his feet.

While we were down in Utah for my interview we stayed for a day or two at Jen and Tory's. This is me teaching him the importance of hunting using Tory's wii game.

Not a lot of exciting news but here's a few new pictures.

Here we are at my mom's birthday party. Beck loved his little hat.

Then we came back to Rexburg and celebrated Kelsey's 21st birthday.

We also had a pretty fun little Super Bowl party with some friends.

About my only contribution to the night was the cake so I'm pretty proud of it.

And here we started giving Beck little drinks of water out of our own cup but he thinks he can do it on his own.

Well, we've been a little lazy about getting this updated, it's been 2 months and I'm not even sure where to get started. I graduated from BYU-Idaho...sort of. I still have to do my internship but they let you put on the gown and get your empty diploma cover if that is all you have left to do. Beck has gotten huge and actually has a little control and some motor development. If he can get anything in his hands it is in his mouth in no time...including his own toes (which I guess is better than somebody else's toes).

Erin is still the light of my life and every day I feel like I love her even more. She is as busy as ever cleaning house. She brings laughter and harmony into our home more than any other woman is capable of. Just recently I've realized how lucky I am to have a woman like her in my life. And to all those men out there reading this I hope and pray that you have these same feelings about your girl cause mine is off the market!!! love to all! (Erin got a hold of the computer and wrote that last paragraph; of course I do feel that way but she is just so much better at expressing it than I am). Anyway, here are some pics.

Most importantly we won another basketball championship on my last semester here!

Everybody came up for my graduation.

Can't seem to convince him that toes really aren't that great.

Conner came and stayed with us for about a week before Christmas and we all made a couple of Gingerbread houses.

We ended up going to Boise for Christmas but we did our own little Christmas on the 23rd so we didn't have to haul all our presents there and back.

I know this is just gross but we were trying to get him to give kisses and all he cared about was getting a hold of my nose and gumming it to death.

And here's a few more just because he's the man.

And finally a special thank you to Uncle Scott and Aunt Sharlene for this exer-saucer toy they gave us for Beckam. He just started using it and loves the thing.
