Since this thing was last updated we've taken a couple trips to visit families, I went Elk hunting, and we had the annual Halloween party with Erin's family.
Here's the cousins all dressed up.
Here Beck is just hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa B.
He seems to get along pretty well with his cousin Jayne.

While I was Elk hunting Kelsey was great to help keep Erin and Beck company so we all went out for dinner when I got back.
And he finally got to meet Great Grandma and Grandpa!

He's almost a month and a half old now and we still can't get enough of him. At his one month appointment he weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz. and was 23" long. Both of those are in the high 70's for percentile but his head circ. was only in the 40th percentile so here are some new pics of our little pinhead baby.
This is how excited he was about Oregon finally pulling it together against Stanford this weekend. Go DUCKS
And of course he had to support his Ohio St Buckeyes so he picked out his own socks.
Here we are watching Conference. He gets pretty tired if he has to hold his own head up for very long...so of course I try to make him do it all the time.
We have been pretty good about finally getting out of the house, mostly because this is how he comes home EVERY time.
And the one time we went to get some ice cream and didn't take him we left him with Dave to watch. I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon.

Well, he's almost 4 weeks now and he already looks totally different than he did in week one. He's up to 10 lbs and 22 inches and cuter than ever. However, he hasn't quite figured out that sleeping is fun. He's decided its over-rated and he's going to have none of it!
There is definitely no question about whether or not he is wearing us out.
When he gets mad about the only thing that will calm him down is the sound of running water. He loves it. So here I am laying in the hallway right outside the bathroom while I just ran the shower and he calmed right down and slept there for about 2 hours.
Here we are both having a great time watching college football. As you can see it is one of his favorite things to do.
This was at about 6:30 in the morning when I got up to go to class. He'd been having a rough night and being the amazing little mom she is this was the only way they could both get some sleep.
When he's in the right mood he can have a great time in his bouncer too.
And of course he's so spiritual he already says his own prayers. This one was even about an hour long!

It finally happened. Beckam Cody Jensen is here. He was born Tuesday August 24th at 7:23pm. The fatty came in at 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. But I'm pretty sure half that weight is in those chubby cheeks. I understand that we are probably just a little bit biased and almost all newborns look more weird than cute, but we think he is awfully stinkin cute!
Here he is about 30 seconds old and they're trying to get him cleaned off and get him some oxygen.
Just a cute little yawn...couldn't leave this one out.
Here is Erin watching him and keeping a very close eye on him. I can say that because about 15 minutes before this was taken she caught me doing the exact same thing on my shift.
This is another one of the blankets Erin made. I'm hoping if this is all he's ever allowed to be wrapped up in it will become his favorite blanket.
This is just as we were getting ready to leave and he did not like his carseat very much.
But a few nice words from mom and he decided he liked it just fine.
We put him in his crib right after we got home and I'm thinking he might already be getting too big....or maybe he'll sleep in here til he's 15. One or the other.

Here is the bedding set we got for this kid. I think it is pretty sweet, especially since the whole thing only cost $5. Gotta love Craigslist.
And here is the new stroller and carseat. All this baby crap is going to get expensive fast!
Here is Erin and Dave & Ash watching birthing videos. Why? I have no idea.
And I had to throw this one in because it was like May 6th or something ridiculous. So sick of Rexburg.

So I woke up Saturday morning just before 7 and looked out our bedroom window to see this:
It's a moose just spending the night literally about 15 yards from the window.
I sat there and watched it for a while and then a dog came running into the field chasing some birds and this calf I had been watching jumped up and just a few yards past it, the cow jumps up. They stared down the dog for a bit until it ran off.
The calf is still so tall that when it decides to cross the fence it doesn't even have to jump, it just steps over it.
At this point I had run out to get in my car and follow them but they turned around and walked right to the car while I was about to start it up.
And here they are just crossing the road. Right after this they hung out in the Cal-Ranch parking lot for a while and about gave one guy a heart attack as he walked out the door. Then they ran down to the river by Albertsons.
I tried to wake up Erin at the beginning of it all to show her how cool this was. She woke up for a whole minute and a half, and then just said, "I'm so glad I could get up at 7:00 on my Saturday to look at that." and fell back asleep. But since at first she tried to argue it was just a horse it's probably not hard to guess that she isn't really as into this stuff as me.

Baby updates
Saturday, February 20, 2010
Alright so I guess the big secret is out. We told our families earlier this week and I have been getting some texts and phone calls from extended family so I guess word is getting around so here are the sonogram pictures. I know they all look pretty much the same but trust me, they are TOTALLY different. I think at the time of this appointment the baby was supposed to be the size of a fig or something but this week its up to as big as a lemon. Next appointment is this Thursday so we'll see if I can get some more pictures up after that.
